Terry
disappeared into the wilds of southeastern Ontario
for a couple of decades but in 2001 he united
with a great group of veteran blues artists
from Montreal - Stephen Barry on bass, Gordon Adamson drums, Peter Measrock keyboards and Martin
Boodman on harp – and released
a superb comeback album in 2006 “Brother
of the Blues” which received major critical

November 16/17 - GARRETT MASON BANDJuno Award Winner, son of
famous Canadian bluesman Dutch, young Garrett
Mason started playing blues in local
clubs near his hometown of Truro, NS in the
early 2000’s. His first CD “I’m
Just A Man” which features all original
compositions came out of nowhere and blew everyone
away winning the 2005 Juno Award for best Blues
Album of the Year. With his unique vocals and
powerful guitar – you’ll hear elements
of Canned Heat, Buddy Rich, Albert King and
Stevie Ray Vaughan in Garrett’s playing
– he is joined by Maritimers Mike
Farrington on bass and Damien
Moynihan on drums as a classic power
trio delivering straight-up rockin’ blues.

January 18/19 -DAVID ROTUNDO BANDAnother
brilliant young Canadian artist, David
Rotundo was inspired to take up the
harmonica after seeing James Cotton perform
at the El Mocambo in 1991. He then traveled
through the states for several years visiting
blues hotbeds like New Orleans, Clarksdale,
Austin, Memphis and Chicago learning how to
play. On his return to Toronto in 1997 he formed
David Rotundo & The Blue Canadians and proceeded
to rip up the blues circuit. He has recorded
two excellent albums with another on its way
soon and has been nominated repeatedly for Maple
Blues

| Awards for Best Harmonica Player of the
Year, won Best New Artist of the Year in 2002 and the CBC’s Galaxie Rising Star Award. He’s played in the bands of blues greats
like Jack de Keyzer and Ronnie Hawkins and opened
for many others. His band is extremely tight
featuring having played together for years with
David on vocals & harp, Dan Dufour on lead guitar, Des Brown on
guitar, Shane Scott on bass

of Canada’s best know, hardest-working
blues artists Jack de Keyzer brings his killer guitar and band for a special
night of blues, R&B, soul, funk and jazz
at The Cove. With a professional career that
has spawned over 32 years Jack has done session
work (for which he is in high demand) with such
notable artists as Etta James, Otis Rush, John
Hammond Jr. and many more. With Jack on lead
guitar and vocals, Chris Murphy on sax,Al Duffy on bass Dave
Coulter on drums this band gets out

power-packed quartet to say the least!

Rotundo (whom he has played with for many
years) and Cuba that same year where they
were very enthusiastically received. His
debut CD on ElectroFi in 2005 “Songs
of Vice & Sorrow” earned praise
from many quarters and a new CD should be
out in time for this Show. Julian will be
backed by two very accomplished Toronto
musicians - Bob Vespaziani on drums (who played with Mark Bird Stafford
at The Cove last December) and Jay
Danley on guitar (and possibly

Mama Thornton. He also met and formed a life long
friendship with John Lee Hooker. In the mid
‘90’s Finis cut his first album
“People Don’t Care” on Shanachie
and has recorded several since including his
most recent on ElectroFi (2005) entitled “What
My Blues Are All About” - a true gem.
He is also part of the great band The
Mannish Boys. To get an idea of the
